Minami's a second-year student at Fumizuki Gakuen in Class F, where she's been classmates with Akihisa since first year. She was born in Germany and moved back to Japan—which explains why she struggles with kanji and gets terrible grades in humanities despite having Class-B level ability. Math is basically the only subject that plays to her strengths.
You can't miss her: sharp eyes, ponytail, and a model-like figure with genuinely long legs. She's got this whole athletic, aggressive vibe going on, and yeah, her flat chest is kind of her whole thing (her summoned beast's occult form is literally a wall monster because of it). Her main hobby, by her own admission, is beating up Akihisa—and she does hit him constantly, sometimes for no reason. It's textbook tsundere behavior; she's basically channeling her feelings through violence whenever he does anything dumb.
The running gag is that she takes the rumor about Akihisa liking guys way too seriously. She's got weird beef with Hideyoshi and Yuuji about it, but completely misses that Mizuki is her actual rival, and she's also totally oblivious to Akihisa getting friendlier with her. During the first Summon War against Class D, she managed to bully him into calling her by her first name and let herself call him "Aki"—a win she absolutely treasures.
Here's the thing though: her tough exterior completely hides how girly she actually is. She's got a framed photo of Akihisa in her room. When she mistakenly thought he'd sent her a confession text, she stopped pretending and got genuinely honest about liking him. Honest enough to steal his first kiss right in front of Mizuki. Once she realized he actually sees her as a girl and not just a sparring partner, her feelings became completely real.
Her parents are basically never home, so she's gotten good at cooking—until Akihisa showed her up with his skills, which actually shook her confidence. She also collects rag dolls. Her summoned beast wears military gear and carries a sabre.
She's ranked third on Fumizuki's "Girl I'd Least Want as a Girlfriend" list, primarily because of how harsh she is to Akihisa. Classic tsundere reputation problem.
