A former sparring partner and rival of Kamogawa and Nekota back in the day, Hama never quite made it as a boxer himself—his glass jaw held him back, despite showing real talent. What he lacked in fighting ability, though, he made up for in brains. He's become known as a brilliant tactician and has built an impressive track record training champions, most notably Sanada Kazuki. These days he's based in Mexico and America, continuing to develop top-tier fighters. Hama still carries that old competitive edge with Kamogawa and openly wants to train a boxer capable of taking down either Makunouchi or Takamura. He's currently Volg's trainer in America.
