Danrou Oze
Danrou Oze is a General in the Tokyo Army's Unified Military Operations Department and father to Maki and Takigi Oze.
Appearance
Danrou's a big guy with short black hair and a weathered face. His most distinctive feature is his eyebrows—thick, dramatically curved things that are kind of legendary for literally extending past the page borders in the manga.
Personality
He comes across as intimidating and loud, the kind of guy who can make other military officers nervous just by being in the room. That said, he genuinely loves his family and actually enjoys spending time with them. Like his wife Madoka and daughter Maki, he's got that ability to flip between gentle and intense pretty fast. He'll spoil Maki rotten according to his son, but he's not afraid to call her out either—he wasn't thrilled about her joining Company 8. He's also pretty observant; he picked up on her pushing herself too hard even when she might've thought she was hiding it.
