Atsuomi Ayanokouji—commonly called Professor Ayanokouji—is Kiyotaka's father and the architect behind the White Room, which he still runs. He's best known for building himself up from nothing through sheer ambition and willpower, eventually becoming influential enough to shake the country. Chairman Sakayanagi has praised his "indomitable fighting spirit," noting that he lacked any natural gifts but made up for it through pure determination.
As a parent, though, Ayanokouji is. complicated. He's proud of what Kiyotaka became, but fans often note he seems to view his son more as a trophy than a person. He's openly acknowledged that Kiyotaka's too sharp to fall for fake displays of affection, yet he still pushed his son to sign a withdrawal form anyway. The guy clearly sees parenting as just another project to control.
