Pandora is the Witch of Vainglory and arguably the main antagonist of Re:Zero, though her exact relationship with the Witch Cult remains deliberately unclear. What is known is that she wields considerable control over the Cult's operations, orchestrating some of history's darkest moments—most notably the assault on Elior Forest and the death of Theresia van Astrea, whom she had the Hakugei hunt down.
Visually, Pandora presents as a young girl with long, wispy platinum hair and dark blue eyes framed by striking lashes. She's often described in almost mythic terms: beautiful enough to make onlookers tremble, the kind of beauty that might make even God pause. Fans sometimes joke that if beauty itself could be lethal, Pandora would be its embodiment.
Her outward demeanor is consistently composed and graceful—dignified, even serene. But this calm facade masks something far uglier: a deeply selfish and sociopathic nature willing to pursue any atrocity if it serves her interests.
Almost nothing is known about where Pandora came from or what she's actually trying to accomplish. The mystery surrounding her origins and endgame is probably intentional.
