Kanata Ubuyashiki is one of the younger children of Kagaya Ubuyashiki and currently assists her older brother Kiriya, the head of the Ubuyashiki clan. She's recognizable by the elongated wisteria-shaped hairpiece she wears on the right side of her head—Kiriya wears a matching one on the left.
Fans first encounter her name in Chapter 144, though her headpiece was hidden until Chapter 147. There was some initial confusion about her identity since the artwork was inconsistent, but the distinctive elongated shape of her wisteria ornament matches the Final Selection examiner introduced earlier in the series, which distinguishes her from her surviving sister, who wears a shorter version of the same style accessory.
