Suzaku rounds out the Four Beasts as a phoenix-like demon whose hair doubles as antennae—a pretty distinctive look that honestly calls to mind Jareth from Labyrinth, if you know that movie. He's built around lightning-based powers, but what really sets him apart is his flute, which he uses to puppeteer Makai Bug-infected humans and send them after targets in the living world. When his fellow Saint Beasts fell, he got orders through his pet demon bird Murugu to go after Keiko Yukimura.
The fight with Yusuke was brutal. Suzaku's lightning and his ability to split into seven copies gave him a serious edge—until Yusuke unknowingly damaged one of his antennae, which threw off his lightning aim enough to matter. That turned the whole thing. By the end, with Keiko about to die and his own energy depleted, Yusuke basically threw away his life to power up his Shotgun technique and take out all seven versions of Suzaku at once.
What's interesting about Suzaku is that he actually felt regret in his final moments. He acknowledged Yusuke's whole thing about protecting people, which makes him stand out as the most honorable of the Four Beasts. It's a surprisingly human moment for a demon. He ranks as Upper C class.
