Koromaru's owner died in a Shadow attack, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets until Fuuka and Yukari took him under their wing. He's best known for being a dog who fights alongside SEES—and unlike typical canines, he wields daggers between his teeth in combat. His Personas lean toward fire and instant-death darkness spells, and he's noticeably faster than most of his teammates.
Even after his master's death, Koromaru kept retracing their old walking routes and returning to the spot where he died, driven by unwavering loyalty. Akihiko eventually stumbles across him during a Shadow hunt, badly wounded but surrounded by dead Shadows he'd managed to take down himself. Once recovered, Ikutsuki discovers that Koromaru can summon Personas just like the other members. Mitsuru outfits him with a special collar-style Evoker, and he officially joins SEES.
Aigis claims she can translate Koromaru's barks and body language into actual human speech, though fans often debate how literally to take that.
