Synopsis

Destruction's coming, and there's no stopping it. That's what they're told. Makoto and his crew have changed a lot through everything they've been through—all the people they've met, all the people they've lost. They keep fighting, but maybe not for the world's sake. Maybe just for themselves. Still, they hold onto hope that when the fighting ends, there'll be peaceful days waiting. Then one of their own—someone they trusted as a friend—drops the truth on them without blinking. Humanity's destruction isn't a threat. It's fate. It's inevitable. Winter comes. And Makoto decides what he's going to do to reach the spring beyond.
