Souko Morinaga
Souko Morinaga is best known as the person who inspired the creation of the Book of Friends. Through her meetings with Reiko Natsume—the young exorcist who would go on to create this powerful and dangerous artifact—Souko gave Reiko the idea of challenging youkai to games, duels, and contests in exchange for their names. What started as a way for Reiko to pass time, something she couldn't do with ordinary humans, became the foundation for one of the series' most significant supernatural objects.
