Poor Boys Frontman
Best known as the lead singer of the Poor Boys, this guy basically made his name by adapting Sara-Kozou's song into a hit record. It's one of those moves that defined the band's early success, though the circumstances around it remain pretty memorable in fan circles.
He's had two different identities depending on which anime adaptation you're watching. If you caught the 1985 version, he goes by Takeshi. Switch over to the 2018 anime and he's Isamu instead. Fans have noted the name change as one of several updates the newer series made to the original material.
