Stroheim is one of the world's three greatest robot engineers and a longtime rival of Juzo, Kouji's grandfather. He's built some seriously impressive stuff—most notably the Gamia sisters, a trio of assassin androids, and the giant robot Danube α1, which he's convinced is the most powerful machine ever created. He lives in a castle hidden deep in the German forests with his daughter Lorelei, where he continues his work away from the public eye.
