Martial Arts: BoxingTakeda Ikki used to run with Ragnarok's Technique Trio—him, Ukita, and Kouga—but he's now one of the Shinpaku Alliance's captains and one of Kenichi's biggest rivals. He's got dark skin, silver hair, and a muscular frame that gets a lot of attention at school. You'll usually spot him in his uniform with wrist bandages from training, often with a blade of grass stuck in his mouth because apparently it makes him look cooler.
His personality's pretty easygoing. He jokes around even when things get serious, and he genuinely respects his master James Shiba and the Ryozanpaku Masters.
Takeda's backstory is rough. He was a solid boxer with a best friend who had his back, and they fought together as a team. Then one day delinquents attacked his friend, and when Takeda jumped in to help, he took a serious hit to his left arm that left it paralyzed. His friend ditched him after that to chase fame, which broke something in Takeda—he lost his passion for fighting and spiraled into becoming a delinquent himself. That's how he ended up in Ragnarok, where he bonded with Ukita as his new best friend.
Things turned around when Akisame fixed his arm. His competitive fire came back, and he got serious about boxing again. Leaving Ragnarok also helped him shed the delinquent lifestyle and get his laid-back personality back. He even challenged Member J from the Black Force team during the D of D tournament just because the guy disrespected Mizunuma.
One quirk: his English is pretty rough. At one point he actually said "I AM WIN! YOU SAY SORRY! OK?" to an opponent, apparently trying to get them to apologize if he won.
Because he and Ukita spent their final high school year as delinquents, they both had to repeat the year.
