Kugaha was one of Bishamonten's Shinki—and arguably her most dangerous one. Best known for orchestrating a conspiracy against Bishamonten herself, he exploited his position as the clan's doctor to poison her while maintaining the trust she'd placed in him. It's a betrayal that fans still find genuinely unsettling; the fact that he was supposed to heal her made everything worse.
