Zank used to work as an executioner for the Empire, which is exactly as dark as it sounds. He wielded an Imperial Arm called Spectator—basically a creepy headpiece with an enormous eye built into it. The weapon let him do what he did best: cleanly decapitate his targets. Night Raid eventually got the contract to hunt him down and take him out.
