Nekota Ginpachi has been Kamogawa Genji's friend and rival for decades, though these days he lives as a hermit in the mountains with his dog Hachi. Despite the isolation, he's never really left boxing behind. He catches matches on tape whenever he can get his hands on them and regularly helps prep the Kamogawa team for big fights—he even spent time at the gym teaching newer boxers the ropes.
Back in his fighting days, Nekota was naturally gifted in ways that impressed even Kamogawa and Dankichi, though they'd never admit it to his face. His fast reflexes and agility were exceptional, and he hit just as hard as either of them. The guy had wild instincts that just seemed to work, making him a genuinely dangerous fighter by pure talent alone.
