Omur Fang started out as a trainee cadet alongside Ryu Jose before becoming one of the White Base's operators. He was the ship's bomb expert and spent a lot of time in the dock prepping mobile suits. He's probably best remembered for accidentally killing the captured Zeon soldier Cozun Graham—Omur tried to blast open a door with a bazooka and it went badly. Even though his role was pretty minor, he showed up constantly since operators were always giving reports and running the ship. Interestingly, a surprisingly large number of voice actors ended up playing him in the Japanese dub over the course of the series.
