Heracles is an eccentric guy who lives out in the Greenstone forest deep in the Boin Archipelago. He's got this whole beetle-suit thing going on and fights with a spear, moving faster than most people can follow. He ends up saving Usopp twice during their time together—once from a massive Hercules Beetle attack and again when a carnivorous plant has him cornered.
One of his quirks is tacking "n" onto the end of words. He'll call Usopp "Usoppun" or refer to himself as "Heraclesun." He also has this thing where he introduces himself constantly, like it never gets old.
His name pulls from the Greek hero Heracles (Hercules in Roman tradition), though it's just as much a reference to the Hercules Beetle itself, which makes sense given his whole aesthetic.
