Kodama Horaki is a university student studying Engineering while working part-time as a cafe waitress. Like her two sisters, her name comes from the Tokaido Shinkansen train line—a detail fans of Evangelion tend to appreciate. She was only ever mentioned in the original series, but didn't get an actual visual design until 2015 when she appeared in promotional material for the Shinkansen 500 Type Eva collaboration.
