Gema floats around as Dejiko and Puchiko's guardian—basically a tiny yellow balloon that's perpetually upside-down, complete with minimal eyes and a small mouth. Creator Koge Donbo was pretty funny about it, claiming Gema was genuinely the best character since anyone could draw him. He's got this distinctive speech pattern where he tags "gema" onto the end of everything he says. As for combat abilities, he can apparently shoot darts from bamboo sticks, though they're basically useless in any actual fight.
