Penangalan
Penangalan looks pretty different depending on which anime you're watching. In the original series, it's a serpent-like creature with a prominent snout full of sharp fangs, beady eyes with visible pupils, and a round body covered in hair strands from head to tail.
By the fourth anime, the design got a pretty major overhaul. It's got green skin now, a longer neck, and a slightly bulkier frame. The fangs are smaller than before, and the eyes have this distinctive look—red sclerae with tiny black pupils. It still keeps that hairy appearance throughout its body and retains the tail, but overall it reads as more menacing and less serpentine than the original design.
