Hug-tan (Hugtan)
A second-year middle schooler who transferred schools and immediately made an impression—though not always the kind she intended. She's on the shorter side compared to her classmates, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to be the cool, reliable older-sister type everyone looks up to.
Hana's got that eager energy where she'll jump into anything that catches her interest, which sounds great in theory. In practice, her first day at the new school basically proved her point: she botched her bangs so badly she had to redo them, then showed up to class late anyway. Classic move.
Everything changes when she encounters Hug-tan, a mysterious baby whose very existence seems important in ways she doesn't fully understand at first. The drive to protect her—to keep her safe no matter what—is strong enough to trigger Hana's transformation into Cure Yell. When she transforms, she goes all-in with her catchphrase: "Cheering everyone on! Energetic Precure! Cure Yell!"
