Synopsis

Cheerful girl Ichika Usami loves sweets—a passion inherited from her mom's baking. When her mother returns from overseas, Ichika decides to bake a cake herself to celebrate. She's interrupted by Pekorin, a cute dog-like fairy, who crashes into her kitchen. With his help, she pulls off the bake, but then an imp named Gummy shows up trying to steal the cake's "kirakiraru"—basically magical essence that makes sweets bring happiness to people. At first Ichika's willing to just hand the cake over to protect Pekorin, but the fairy helps her understand how much the cake means and all the love that went into making it. As the kirakiraru responds to her feelings, it transforms into a set of accessories that turn her into Cure Whip, a Pretty Cure warrior. From then on, she fights to protect the town's sweets and its people whenever kirakiraru thieves strike. Along the way, she picks up colorful allies who join her cause.
