Manga debut: chapter 3Momoka is the only child of an absurdly wealthy zaibatsu head, which basically means she can afford whatever she wants—except Fuyuki's affection, which she's constantly scheming to win. She's got it bad for him and won't hesitate to beat up anyone who gets in the way, including her own Keronian partner Tamama, who has a talent for literally standing between them at the worst times. Still, the two are weirdly close—more like siblings who fight constantly than owner and pet.
What makes Momoka interesting is her extreme mood swings. Most of the time she's shy and easily scared, almost cutesy. But the moment an enemy shows up or she gets genuinely angry, she flips into this violent, aggressive version of herself. It's not quite like she's got a split personality, but she definitely has two sides that don't always agree with each other—and yes, sometimes she embarrasses herself by accidentally saying her aggressive thoughts out loud. There was actually an episode where these two sides literally split apart, creating a bossy intimidating Momoka and a timid cute one, and it took Keroro and some weird synchronized swimming to put her back together.
After watching Tamama fight alongside the Keroro Platoon, Momoka started secretly training so she could hold her own protecting Fuyuki. Eventually she got outfitted with some serious armor that gave her real combat capabilities, and now she fights alongside the platoon. Her name kind of gives her away too—"momo" means peach and "ka" is another word for flower, fitting since she's often trying to use her Nishizawa Peach Group (which she apparently started with Mois and Natsumi) to get closer to Fuyuki or solve whatever problem she's facing, like the time they needed to break into her father's high-security manor to steal an embarrassing painting.
