A third-year student at the same school as Kamijou Touma and widely considered a genius, she serves as an adviser to Kaizumi Tsugutoshi, one of Academy City's 12 Board Directors. She's deeply knowledgeable about the Science side's inner workings—familiar with everything from Deep Blood to the Imagine Breaker and the Level 6 Shift project. Her interest in Touma and his ability is purely intellectual rather than romantic, though it's clearly a major focus of hers.
Her biggest contribution to the story involves protecting so-called "gemstones"—naturally born espers who'd otherwise be hunted down and forcibly used by governments and other agencies to establish rival esper research facilities. Convinced that outside groups would likely kill these gemstones in the process of studying them anyway, she proposed a solution: deploy the SISTER clones undergoing adjustment worldwide to locate roughly fifty gemstones and keep them safe under their own protection. She apparently made some kind of arrangement with Heaven Canceller to get the clones mobilized for this purpose.
She appears as a significant character in SS2 and NT2, and gets a brief mention in Volume 19 when GROUP is searching for Board support against the Director. They specifically rule out trying to recruit Kaizumi, reasoning that Seria would see through any pitch and likely talk him out of cooperating with them anyway.
