Noi is Yuuhii's familiar—the Lizard Knight's constant companion and probably his most level-headed one. He's got a pretty straightforward view of how things should be: protect the Princess, stop the Mage from destroying Earth, end of story. That's their job, and he takes it seriously.
The problem is Yuuhii doesn't always see it that way, which frustrates Noi to no end. Once Noi catches wind of what Yuuhii and Samidare are actually planning, he's genuinely disappointed by how casually Yuuhii treats the whole Animal Knights versus Mage situation. Noi knows this stuff matters.
He's picked up a decent amount of knowledge about the other Animal Knights and their abilities, the Mage's schemes, and the various moving parts of the conflict—though he's never actually met any of them in human form. Still, he knows enough to grasp the bigger picture, even when Yuuhii's being stubborn about it.
Physically, Noi's tethered to Yuuhii pretty closely. Wander too far and he'll get yanked right back. On the plus side, regular humans can't see him at all, so at least there's that layer of secrecy going for him.
