Suman Dark joined the Black Order five years before the main story started, desperate to fund treatment for his sick daughter. During a mission to locate General Zokalo, his teammates Chaker Rabon and Kazanna Reed were killed by Tyki Mikk. Terrified and unwilling to die, Suman betrayed his comrades' locations to save himself—a decision that came back to haunt him.
His Innocence judged him for this betrayal and turned him into a Fallen One, a curse that slowly destroyed his body from within. When Allen Walker tried to remove the Innocence to save him, it was already too late. Even worse, Tyki Mikk had planted a Teez inside Suman as insurance during their earlier encounter, and this ultimately destroyed what was left of him.
Suman's anti-akuma weapon was a parasite-type Innocence that manifested as a gem-like stone near his thumb. It's now held by the Black Order.
