D.Gray-man
Thousands of years ago, certain individuals were blessed with divine power to hunt down monsters called Akuma that lurk in the shadows. The Akuma serve the Millennium Earl, who's determined to destroy "Innocence"—sacred weapons that are literally the only things capable of harming him and his forces. His ultimate goal is to trigger the Great Flood and wipe out humanity like he supposedly did a hundred years ago. To stop him, the Black Order was established as a military organization dedicated to fighting back. They seek out Exorcists—people with a natural ability to wield Innocence—and train them to battle the Akuma. Cut to the late 1800s, where a white-haired teenager named Allen Walker gets recruited by the Order. Allen's already equipped with some serious firepower: an Innocence grafted onto his entire left arm and a cursed eye that lets him see Akuma. Once he joins up, he's thrown in with a colorful cast of fellow Exorcists—the moody and skilled Yuu Kanda, the sweet and compassionate Lenalee Lee, and the upbeat Lavi, who's got more going on than he lets on. They're all personality clashes in their own ways, but they're united in two things: saving the souls trapped inside Akuma and keeping the Millennium Earl from ending the world.
