Hans is one of seven heroes trapped behind the mist barrier, and he's definitely the least famous of the bunch—which is exactly how he likes it. He's a professional assassin, and being a household name would be terrible for business. True to form, when he received the six-petal flower crest, his first move was to negotiate a cash payment from the nearest kingdom's ruler before even heading to meet the other heroes.
Everything about Hans screams cat. His grin is feline and unsettling, and he moves and behaves with an animal's grace and unpredictability. His speech patterns (in Japanese, at least) blend Tohoku dialect with actual cat-like vocalizations, which only adds to the effect. Intellectually, he's one of the sharpest heroes around, and physically he's among the strongest—a combination that makes him genuinely dangerous. He's hard to fool and unafraid to turn on allies if something feels off, especially since he actively enjoys fighting powerful opponents. The Kyouma leadership rates him as the most feared of the six flowers, right alongside Chamo.
His fighting style is built around twin wide-blade knives and movement that barely seems human. He'll rotate through the air, walk on his hands, twist into positions that shouldn't be possible—all with the liquid flexibility of a cat. Fast, silent, and lethal in every scenario.
Interestingly, Hans and Chamo have grown genuinely fond of each other over time. Chamo's taken to calling him "Neko-san."
