Sekine
Sekine rounds out the band as the bassist—a position she didn't exactly walk into as a natural musician. Unlike the rest of the group, she's not particularly gifted at playing, but she shows up and puts in genuine effort. What she lacks in raw talent, she makes up for with determination.
She's tight with Irie, the two basically inseparable, and they're both part of the band that Iwasawa and Hisako put together. Hisako's taken on kind of a mentor role with Sekine, regularly guiding her through the unwritten rules of being in a band—what works, what doesn't, that kind of thing. It's a dynamic that's become pretty central to how Sekine's developed as a player.
