Tadatsuru Teori is a dollmaster and Oddity specialist who focuses on dead oddities—the inverse of Yozuru Kagenui's preference for living ones. Like other stray specialists, he's obsessed with oddities, viewing them as beautiful and often capturing them for his own collection.
Back in college, Tadatsuru was part of Izuko Gaen's Occult Research Club alongside Meme Oshino, Yozuru Kagenui, and Deishuu Kaiki. The group's differing approaches to oddities created friction between him and Kagenui, a dynamic that got worse when they collectively created Yotsugi Ononoki—who ultimately chose Kagenui as her master instead. That snub cemented their rivalry.
