Faputa holds the title of "Princess of the Narehate" in Ilblu, a village deep in the Abyss's 6th layer. Kajya describes her as "the embodiment of value," and she's revered among the Narehate there—though she can't actually enter the village herself, which is a strange limitation for someone so central to it.
Despite being loved by the villagers, she's frequently irritable and angry. She hates being watched, and the Narehate themselves make her uncomfortable, especially the ones with too many eyes. Majikajya has noted her volatile temperament.
Her speech is simple and direct. She refers to herself in third person, speaks in short, sometimes cryptic sentences, and doesn't use complex grammar. She's intensely possessive—particularly about Reg, whom she considers entirely hers. She feels completely entitled to examine him however she wants, with no apparent self-consciousness about it. She's also jealous and quick to stake her claim over anything she deems important.
