Furias is a major general in the Erste Empire's military and comes from money—the kind of noble background that's clearly gone to his head. He's openly contemptuous of basically everyone around him, whether they're enemies or supposedly on his side. What's interesting is the gap between his laid-back demeanor and his actual temperament. Beneath that casual arrogance, he's volatile; even the smallest inconvenience can set him off into a furious rage, and he's shown he'd execute his own soldiers without hesitation if they irritated him enough.
His first major assignment was commanding imperial forces at Port Breeze, which is where you and your group first butt heads with him. He becomes a recurring problem throughout your journey, repeatedly clashing with your party as you progress through the story.
