She is the real Sukeyo, not to be confused with , who used her appearance and name for years. Sukeyo was a stage actress and helped Izana get back on her feet after she fleed her village. Izana first takes on Sukeyo's appearance when the latter is down with a fever, and goes on to play her part in a performance that night, to critical acclaim. After Sukeyo finds out the truth, she proposes to lend her face to Izana during performances, while Sukeyo would focus on her main passion - designing the costumes.
