Synopsis

Everyone's obsessed with beauty—that's just how the world works. Kasane Fuchi's late mother, Sukeyo, was living proof. The famous stage actress had looks and talent in spades, and audiences loved her for it. Kasane wants to follow in her footsteps as an actress. She's genuinely talented at acting, but here's the problem: she doesn't look like her mother at all. People question whether they're even related. Her appearance gets her bullied and shut out at school, which makes pursuing an acting career feel pretty much impossible when looks matter so much in that industry. Everything changes when Kasane recalls something her mother once told her—to wear her lipstick and kiss whoever she wants. So she tries it, and it actually works. The first person she kisses while wearing it, they swap faces. Suddenly, her dream is back on the table. But now the question is: how far will she go to use this power?
