Carlos was Tsubasa Ozora's private language teacher during his final year of middle school, helping him prep for the big move to Brazil. He'd show up at the Ozora house regularly and was supportive enough to catch some of Tsubasa's matches, including the middle school tournament finals.
He's got a cheerful personality but doesn't mess around when it comes to teaching—always giving Tsubasa grief about caring way more about soccer than actually learning Portuguese. He'd even cut lessons short when Tsubasa got distracted by football talk, though it was clearly more playful ribbing than genuine frustration.
