Arukenimon served as one of Digimon Adventure 02's main villains—a spider-woman Digimon inspired by the Jorōgumo yokai, with a human upper body but spider abdomen and legs. She rules over the Dokugumon and has a reputation for being quick-tempered and genuinely feared by other Digimon.
Her most distinctive trick is shapeshifting into a stunning human form to get close to unsuspecting targets. While disguised this way, she can weaponize her own hair using a technique called Spirit Needle to take over Control Spires and manufacture artificial Digimon slaves—but only ones weaker than or equal to her own level. This limitation meant she couldn't control BlackWarGreymon, who outclassed her as a Mega-level Digimon. In Adventure 02 specifically, she also wields a flute that lets her command insect-type Digimon directly.
