Mozu is known among his team simply by that name—no one really uses anything else. He's the quiet, serious type whose age is kind of a mystery. What he is known for is being genuinely skilled across the board: martial arts, survival skills, and playing instruments. He's competent in a way that makes him reliable when it counts.
Kaname, on the other hand, represents one of the series' most compelling examples of a well-intentioned extremist. He orchestrated the brutal culling and abuse of children during the Team Summer A selection process, all justified in his mind as a necessary evil to save humanity—or at least to secure Japan's future. It's the kind of ruthlessness that comes wrapped in supposedly noble intentions, which is what makes his character so unsettling.
