Zeu serves as the real villain of Sand Land, despite the King's prominent position. He's the aging military commander controlling the kingdom from a floating robotic platform due to his deteriorating health. The attack on the Picchi—the people who invented the water-producing machine—was Zeu's call. He had two things to gain: eliminating Shiba's insubordinate tank unit and crushing a threat to the King's water monopoly. Basically, Zeu pulls all the strings while the King sits around as his puppet. He doesn't last long, though. Are takes him down with a direct tank cannon shot.
