Odin stands as the supreme god in Norse mythology and rules over the Æsir. He's best known for being pretty taciturn—seriously, the guy barely talks. When he does need to communicate, he relies on his two ravens, Huginn and Munnin, who perch on his shoulders and do most of the talking for him. In that way, he's similar to his son Thor, though Thor at least speaks occasionally.
Like many of the major Norse gods, Odin is fated to participate in Ragnarok, the apocalyptic final battle that will reshape the world.
