Crocus spent most of his career as a lighthouse keeper, but he's probably best known to fans for those three years he served as a doctor aboard Gol D. Roger's ship. These days he runs the Lighthouse at the entrance to the Grand Line, the place that guides ships coming down from Reverse Mountain. He's also Laboon's caretaker—the whale's been waiting at the lighthouse for years, and Crocus has looked after him the whole time.
