She's convinced they massacred her ancestors and makes it her mission to warn the shamans competing in the current Shaman Fight away from Patch Village, insisting the Patch are dangerous killers who'll destroy anyone who trusts them. It's a shock when Asakura Hao later reveals the truth: he's the one who slaughtered the Seminoa, not the Patch. In the manga, Hao kills Lilirara shortly after Yoh and his group leave to head to the village.
