Vice-Admiral Komir runs Naval Base G2, though he's probably best known for one thing: dealing with consistently terrible coffee during his administrative meetings. When Portgas D. Ace sneaks onto the base undercover as a naval officer, Komir doesn't figure it out right away—but eventually the cover falls apart. Ironically, Ace ends up saving the day anyway by helping reunite a milkmaiden named Moda with her parents, who work on the Naval Grocery Ship. The payoff? Base G2 finally gets a reliable milk supply, which means Komir can actually enjoy decent coffee in his meetings going forward.
