Hyourinmaru is the physical manifestation of Toshiro Hitsugaya's Zanpakuto spirit, appearing in the Zanpakuto Unknown Tales arc.
In his humanoid form, Hyourinmaru appears as a tall, stoic young man with long, wild teal-green hair and an icy blue X marking across his face. His eyes are clear ice, and he dresses in loose samurai-like garments with a chain belt (mirroring his sword form) and a dull gold chest plate similar to Hitsugaya's captain's sash. Ice covers his arms and legs much like Hitsugaya's own appearance when using Bankai, and he has a prehensile ice-tipped tail. He rarely speaks, maintaining an air of cold composure throughout.
When needed, Hyourinmaru transforms into a massive icy blue serpentine dragon with enormous wings and a deep, echoing voice.
