Kaku works as one of five foremen at Galley-La Company's Dock One, handling mechanical diagnostics and repair consultations. He's best known for delivering the bad news to the Straw Hats—the Going Merry was totaled and beyond saving.
His most notable trait is his exceptional leg strength, which he puts to good use sprinting across Water 7's rooftops and making impressive jumps between buildings. This lets him complete ship inspections faster than most, hopping from job to job across the city without breaking a sweat.
