Kanako's the quiet type—pretty deadpan most of the time, which she's comfortable with. She's genuinely talented at drawing and takes it seriously enough to post her work online under the handle "Natsuko." Her best known for her art, really.
She ended up living in the same building as Maki Katsuragi, and they hit it off pretty quickly after he moved in. These days you'll usually find her hanging around the light tennis club, sketchbook in hand. She basically uses them as her main subject matter, drawing the players during practice and matches. It's a good setup for her—the club gets an artist documenting their activity, and she gets endless material.
