Shizuru Kuwabara
Kazuma's older sister and a natural force to be reckoned with. At 17 when the story kicks off, she's got serious spiritual sensitivity—actually sharper than her brother's at first—plus the fighting ability to back it up. She's an aspiring beautician who genuinely wants Kazuma to get his act together and focus on school instead of constantly throwing himself into danger.
Shizuru's straightforward and doesn't hold back; she'll say what needs saying and throw down if the situation calls for it. Like Keiko, she's not the type to sit on the sidelines. She even famously yells encouragement at Toguro during the Dark Tournament.
The Sakyo Romance
Her biggest moment comes during the Dark Tournament arc, where she falls hard for Sakyo, the wealthy owner of Team Toguro. He saves her life twice, which only deepens her feelings—though she has no idea who he really is or what he's actually involved in until everything unravels.
