He started out working under Haruki Enomiya in Myogadani, an abandoned zone, before getting recruited as an enforcer by Mika Shimotsuki. Though he initially seems like a straightforward hire, it's revealed in season 3 that he's actually been working with Tsunemori all along. His relationship with his inspector, Arata Shindou, takes time to develop, but he gradually comes around to him.
Best known for his laid-back, joking personality—he loves messing around and having fun—he's genuinely invested in protecting the people living in the forgotten Myogadani zone. That concern for them is actually a big part of why he became an enforcer in the first place. Despite the casual demeanor, there's real depth to his commitment.
