One of two Egyptian brothers hired by Mutou Sugoroku to break into an ancient Pharaoh's tomb. Ahmet and his brother Mushara were brought in as guides, but things went south fast.
The tomb itself was basically a death trap disguised as a puzzle. One of the worst obstacles: a hallway with sword-wielding statues that slid along overhead catwalks. The trick was moving through with your left foot forward—running on both legs meant getting skewered. Problem was, both brothers were right-footed. Mushara panicked, broke into a run, and got stabbed by the statues before plummeting to his death (or in the 4Kids version, dragged into the Shadow Realm).
That's when Ahmet snapped. He pulled a gun on Sugoroku, blamed him for his brother's death, and forced him to keep moving toward the treasure chamber. Once they reached it, though, things got worse for Ahmet. The treasure room had a catch—only the pure of heart could claim what was inside. Ahmet wasn't pure of heart. He shot Sugoroku anyway (the 4Kids dub made it a slingshot and marble instead), and while Sugoroku fell, he managed to grab a ledge and hang on. Ahmet walked straight to the treasure, but the guardian spirit showed up and killed him on the spot. In the end, the Pharaoh himself saved Sugoroku's life.
