Rijan founded the Twilights and is the great grandmother of Ton Baileu. She's best known for taking a fundamentally different approach than the Midnight Sun—instead of conflict, she wanted humans and Umbra to actually coexist. She had serious magical chops herself and knew her way around Umbra biology and magic, which gave her the foundation to build something different from what came before her.
